No need for anyone to answer this question as it is a rhetorical one. I already know the answer from those people who listen for Nazism everywhere or wear their little tin foil hats.
I never heard the song sang in Pres. Bush honor--but it would have creeped me out the same.
The song that Elton John sang for Princess Di is a bit different: he, as an individual took one of HIS songs and altered it specifically for her funeral. If memory serves correct he had met Princess Di on numerous occasions so it was more of a personal tribute. He wasn't making impressionable children sing it.

I do think people are inspired by and admire Pres. Obama. Heck! I think his fractured family and that he was raised by his grandparents is a huge inspiration for many children. Especially minority children who seem to have a higher rate of fractured families/single parent households.
It's just creepy that the inspiration and admiration has evolved into what appears to be worshipping him and placing him on a pedastal far above the norm with some people.

Oh, and I'm a little offended that you seem to imply I feed into the whole Nazism and tin foil hat wearing crowd. While I don't particularly care for Obama, I didn't like Bush either--and it was because I didn't agree with the policies, or how they handled certain situations. Not because I believe all the conspiracy theories.
