Uh huh. It's a stupid point and a desperate attempt at rationalization. You say that a phone sex operator is 'exactly' like an actress but why do that if you think there's nothing wrong with it? You won't be a 'home call center worker' or 'exactly like an actress' - you'll be a phone sex operator. Call it what it is and do it or say it isn't right for you and don't because either you're up to this or you aren't. It is what it is by any name you care to give it and if you need to rationalize it and try to improve it's title, it must bother you on some level.

There's no reason to be offended because I was just trying to help you and I phrased my opinion nicely. You and your My Coupons counterparts seem to have convinced yourselves that being a phone sex operator is exactly like being an actress (LOL) but the rest of the world just doesn't see it that way and never will. Calling yourself a 'home call center worker' to lessen the sleaze impact doesn't change the fact that you'll talk sex for money and you'll still be a phone sex operator. You may make a hard line distinction between strippers, prostitutes, and phone sex operators but most of us consider the sex trade workers to be pretty interchangable. Why? Because so many of the women in these jobs made them so. So many strippers and phone sex operators have supplemented their income by turning tricks, that it's become a cliche. Whether you'll be one of them isn't the point - the point is that people will think you are. You might see these fields as completely different but you'll still be lumped into a semi-prostitute catagory by most people and I wanted to help you avoid that. I should have known better - my mistake!

One thing you can't buy is a good reputation and I was just trying to help you because I thought you might wish you had that good reputation back twenty years down the road - assuming you even possess it now. Don't bother telling me how wonderful sex trade operators are - they may be but most of the world isn't as 'enlightened' as you so they still look down on people who work in the sex trades and they'll look down on you - and your children because of what their mother does for a living. It doesn't matter whether you agree with them - it is what it is and I thought you might want to avoid that in case it impacts your or your children's future.

I got the impression from your posts that you are a young woman and sometimes, young women do things that they wish they hadn't later so I was just trying to keep you from making what I think is a big mistake. It was just a suggestion and if you think that being a phone sex operator is right for you and your family, it probably is. You would know.
