Couple of things: the written word carries no tone, inflection or body language. If the written word appears "rude" it may just be YOUR perception. Secondly, Anna is a big girl, and having been on these boards for a while now, I'm sure she was prepared or anticipating some less than "supportive" comments. Lastly, just because someone doesn't agree with you, doesn't mean they are rude or cocky. Many of us here are very blunt and to the point. It comes across in the written form as being cocky and sarcastic.
I know that I have had what I thought were mean posts from others---even deddlast and opaldancing---and sometimes those posts were the ones that made me stop and think. and in re-reading them, realized that by and large it was a type of "tough love" kind of talk that we all need from time to time.
So, really, while I'm sure that Anna appreciates the support. She's a big girl and can fight her own battles. typically Anna can give as good as she gets.
