Yes, before we were able to hit a sample request button for any item under $5 and then it was added to our shopping cart.
Anything over $5 , you had to call in for a sample and talk to an operator.
Just looked now and yes they have changed it and you now have to call to request a sample of anything, no matter what the price.
Guess they must have gotten too many requests all at once.
