As a Christian, I believe in faith first BUT my faith leads me to believe that God created man with an amazing mind and the ability to do amazing things (doctors and scientists). Science is a gift from God and when used to heal people of disease or help them manage chronic illness, it pleases God. I believe in the power of prayer/faith but I also believe that God intended us to use the gifts He gives us, that is, the healing power of medicine/medical care.

This case and others like it are heartbreaking and maddening.
