I wonder how those religious groups who oppose medical intervention feel about the use by either Luke or Jesus (I'll fry f'sure for not remembering this one exactly! ;-) of mud and spit to cure a blind man. *That* was medical intervention back then, today we have more advanced medications (though I don't doubt that whatever was in the mud and spit had some properties still being used by pharmaceutical co.s today). Even the Jews of the old testament had surgery - circumcision.
I'm not intending to be snarky at all, but if anyone on this board can explain to me why certain groups don't believe in anything other than prayer for healing I'd love to learn about it.
