Dh and one of our sn kids had the porky flu in the spring. Oldest dd is currently recovering from it. From what I've seen with our first 3 family cases, and 2 of these cases were high risk, I tend to side with no H1N1 vaccine. 3 of us have, however gotten our yearly flu shots (only 5 more to go!).
I think when I got to 5 or 6 kids I started getting flu shots after barely surviving a family bout of the flu. I realized at that point I'd rather drink hemlock if it meant trying to nurse a family with flu again when I was just as sick as the rest of the motley crew.
Oy.
