I also remember my virulent reaction to the oinker flu vaccine back in the mid-70's. I was in the military and had no choice but to take the shot. The side effects of that one shot made me *wish* I had the flu. I don't know why that particular vaccine sticks out in my mind, and I hope vaccine advances have been made since then, but I still get the willies when I hear of another swine flu vaccine. Purely anecdotical, mind you. I am not against vaccinations, per se, but am more careful than I was 30 years ago about this sorta stuff.
