I went to one once and it was fun.

We all had to bring 3 dozen cookies - each dozen wrapped separately and include the recipe. We put them all on the table and drew numbers then went around and each picked one dozen at a time. I think the 3rd time we went around in reverse order so that last person didn't pick last every time.

We ate appetizers and drinks.

We also brought a wrapped white elephant gift and then drew numbers had did the white elephant gift exchange and we could steal it a max of 3 times.

That party was a lot of fun! I did not hold it, I attended it. I've often thought of holding one, but never have.
