I'm setting up a cookie exchange again this year and I like to try new recipes. Thanks for sharing, I think I will have to try some of the above.

Here is one that I took several years ago and someone usually makes it for the exchange, so easy and so quick

Cool Whip Cookies
1 box lemon cake mix (can use any kind but lemon or strawberry are the best!)
1 carton cool whip (8 0z)
1 egg

Mix all ingredients together. Roll into balls. Roll in powdered sugar. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. Leave on pan a few minutes before removing.

These are also very good.

Oreo Balls

1 package regular size Oreos, crushed
1 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
1 package white almond bark
1 package chocolate almond bark

Mix oreos and softened cream cheese. Mix well. Roll into balls. (these are pretty rich, so walnut size balls are about perfect.) Chill about an hour. Melt the almond bark separately. Dip the Oreo balls in the almond bark. Place on wax paper and let set. May drizzle with the opposite color of almond bark for added elegance. (you can also add food coloring to the white almond bark)
