I make this recipe and people can't believe how simple it is to make!!! I have NEVER told my DH how easy it is to make because I want him to think it takes a long time!!!

French Onion Soup Augratin

2 large onions, sliced thinly
2 cans Campbell's Beef Broth
2 pieces sliced French, toasted
Sliced or shredded cheese (mozzarella, or Provolone)

Take your onions and saute them in some butter or margarine until they are translucent and have "sweated" out their juices. (Basically cook them to death, but don't brown them! )

Then open the Beef Broth and put it in a large saucepan and add the onions to the saucepan and heat over medium-low heat until heated through.

Take your toasted bread and place them in your serving bowl with the cheese on top. Then divide your soup between the bowls and serve.

Serves 2.

NOTE: This simple recipe works ONLY with Campbell's brand of Beef Broth, I don't know why, but other brands just don't taste the same. You can add more onions or use less, depends on your taste.
