Just wondering if these are termite burrows. They have been there since we moved in, but now they are getting very bad. This is on the porch outside my house.

Anyone? Has anyone had experience with these guys that can tell me if they feel that is termite tracks?

I would go ask over at the cafe board. It seems suspicious to me, what did your inspector say when you bought the house.

If you have any doubts contact an exterminator.

that is what it looks like to me..or maybe mud dabbers ? ( wasps )...I'd call for a free inspection from an exterminator..good luck with this..least it is outdoors..not on your house yet..

Well in the springtime I see little flying things going right to the holes (look like little pinholes). They look like little flying ants. Really skinny and their wings are as long as their bodies. I don't have any pics of them because they are not here anymore. They are just around from say April to May. I never see any non-flying bugs around the holes or anywhere on the posts. The previous owner used actual tree trunks as posts for the porch awning. My home looks like one of those log cabins you see. I haven't seen anything like this inside the house or even on the outside of the actual home. Just on these posts.

The home was inspected for termites at the time of purchase, but these things weren't there. They showed up like a month after we moved in. Unless they were there and hiding or hibernating or something. We can't afford an inspection right now. Honestly I have never heard of anywhere here that does free inspections without expecting a contract out of it. Matter of fact we are going to be moving in December. Not our choice, we had to file bankruptcy.
