Declutter 2/1

The other thread was getting long so I thought we should start a new one.

How did you do yesterday and what is your plan for today?

Yesterday I went through DDs living room toy box, switched the hangers in my closet, and washed 4 loads of laundry. Today I want to finish decluttering the living room, go through the boys toy box, and take a load to the Goodwill.

I'm just getting in on this!!

Yesterday I cleaned off a spot on my kitchen counter that always collects magazines and junk. So after I had it cleaned off, I put a candle in its place so that way nothing can collect there anymore!!

I did this to my counter too. However, the junk just piles around the candle holder. I have to clean off my counter/ bar everyday.

I cleaned my dd closet a few days ago. I had her help me and we had two garbage bags full of clothes when we finished. I made her get rid of anything she didn't like and would not wear (which was at least half of her clothing). She is going thru a tomboy stage and won't wear anything that looks *girly*. She gave up some beautiful dresses. I plan to put them in a yard sale this spring. I told her if she helped with the sale I would give her the money from her things to spend on whatever she wants. I also did my closet and also ended up with about half my clothes gone. I recently have gone down two/three sizes, so I decided to get rid of the clothing that are too big for me now.....hoping to stay at size six. Next....my hubbys clothes...

Wow, I'm forced to stay home until at least 4 because direct tv is coming to upgrade.
So, I will be concentrating on the kitchen. Need to clean the counters/table and repaper
four drawers, but, before all that, I think I am going to sneak outside to play with the dog
and do a tad bit of yardwork before the rain comes again. Also have to sneak in some laundry,
make a grocery list and help twins work on science fair projects.

Have a wonderful day

It was a good thing that DS needed some cold medicine and couldn't find it...It forced me to take some things out from under the kids bathroom sink...I went through all of the medicine and threw out anything that expired...Then I straightened up under there and cleaned out the two drawers in the vanity...I need to get back on track with this! ~Lisa

We had a guest for 2 days (Thursday night until this morning), which I have to say realllly helped with my decluttering lol.

Nothing like having someone stay over to make you clean.

I need to somehow make my closet more organized, and I also need to fix the cabinet where I keep my pots and pans.
