Can I cut back my butterfly bushes now without hurting them? I have two that have become very large that I would like to cut down to see if they can become more bush-like.

I cut mine down every spring. I have about 6 of them. They come back bushier and bigger then ever. As long as frost is over in your area, there shouldnt be any harm done!
