My mother gave them to me for my birthday(yeah, strange gift but....) and I used them for the first time three weeks ago for cilantro. Usually I have to throw it out in about four days but this cilantro is still going strong in the green bag. So from what I've seen they're a little costly but I guess well worth it! It's the Debbie something greenbags. sandy |

I've used them - They did help. I used them with a bagged salad because they always go brown in a day or so and it stayed good for several days longer than I would have expected. I also used them with peppers and broccoli with good results. Mine were the Debbie Meyer Green bags and I got them at Bed, Bath & Beyond. I think they were around $10 and of course I used a 20% coupon!!! My problem is I always think I'm going to use the produce right away and don't want to hassle with putting them in the special bags, but then I end up putting off that meal for awhile and then the produce does spoil because I didn't use the bags to begin with. I need to get into the habit of just doing it every time I put produce away. |
