I was wondering if you could help me out with something.

I have started planning my daughter's 15th birthday party as an Amazing Birthday Race. I was wondering if you could help me come up with some Road blocks or detours. I know it's hard to come up with these ideas as I have been working on this for weeks now. I've searched online but most of the ones that are discussed won't work for me as their parties were indoors. Let me know if you think of anything.....

Here are a couple that I have:

You will need to go into Wal-greens and buy a birthday card for Elena. Both team members must sign the birthday card, place it in the envelope, write Elena's name on the outside and hand it to the chauffer to receive the next clue.

Another I have is - There is a grocery store in this shopping center so they have to go to the grocery store parking lot and get a shopping cart from the parking lot and return it to the inside of the store (NO RUNNING!), this helps out the store as well! :0) These are the types of clues/assignments/challenges I'm looking for.

I love The Amazing Race, and what a fun theme for a birthday party. I may need to think of ides, but one that comes to mind is the teams having to answer a questionnaire about your daughter. Nothing too technical. Start with easy questions: (Some questions will depend on her age)
When is Elena's Birthday?
How old is Elena?
Favorite color?
Favorite Pop star/group?

Another idea, since you mentioned the shopping carts, the teams are given a certain amount of money and have to go shopping for all the ingredients to make a birthday cake. They cannot go over the allotted money, like $4-$5

When all the questions have been answered correctly, they can move on to the next task.

my son did something similiar with the church youth group and one thing that I thought was really funny was they had to go to a gas station and convince people to let them pump their gas for them. They had to pump 5 cars before they could go on to the next clue.
They also had to go to a local park and perform so many task....like swing for so long....cross the monkey bars....down the slides, etc.
Another was they had to go to a local farm and milk a cow and get so many ounces of milk then drink the milk.
Thats all I can think of off the top of my head, but I'll ask tonight what else.
