Tacky kitchen cabnets

Tacky as in sticky not weird. I have tried vinager, orange glow, and murphy's oil, all to no avail the cabnits are still tacky. Any Ideas?

Thanks for your help. breggae I also thought the vinagar would do it. rainy is geaselightning safe for wood? If so I'll buy some and try.

i used it on all my kitchen cabinets before i sanded and painted them and it didnt damage them at all. i even used it on the handles and hinges (put them in a bowl and sprayed,then washed in hot soapy water-you would not believe how clean they came- they were silver looking but wow how clean! i tell you the people who had this house before us must have never cleaned.lol.. it tells youonthe bottle what to not use it on,includes wood,leather,laminated etc. Greased Lightning - Cleans when others Can't .hope this helps, we had nothing to lose because we were painting them anyway,but it worked great and did not damage at all.

How can people not clean. I watch these shows on TV on how dirty houses are and it amazes me. I have always said that "clean is free" even if you only use hot water. Good luck with the sticky cabinets. I know that is no fun cleaning them.
