Listing itemson EBAY Turbo - question on time

Hi,

A friend of mine asked me to list about 1500-2000 items on Ebay Turbo for her...and she is going to pay me to do this.

I have listed items on Ebay before, but never Ebay Turbo and never 1500-2000 items in one fall swoop.

I need to know what to charge my friend...this is a business for her, so it's not like I'm just doing this for a friend to help her out. She wants to pay me...it's a business transaction.

So...what do I charge for something like this?

Help??!!

Pam

Definitely keep track of the time it takes you. When I sold for someone, I charged 50% of the final price. But I was the one taking the picture, measurements, listing and shipping...everything. Are you going to be managing the whole thing, or just getting it ready to list? If you want to charge by the hour, I wouldn't charge any less than $10/hr.

I would base my rate on time. If she is providing all the details and you are just keying, maybe $10 to $15 an hour. If you are having to come up with the details, wording, categories, etc. then I would charge $15 to $25 an hour. Coming up with all those details is the hard part of Ebay and that is really where the money is and how the money is made.
