Yes, I replied to the wrong user! Sorry about that. Package is still M.I.A. I purchased several items and I thought I was replying about a different shipment...I got your screen names confused.

I am sick about this situation really. I was most excited about your package! The Post Office claims they delivered it on Wed. Which they delivered 2 other boxes that day..(we were here and took it out of the postman's hands ourselves.) We have spoken with the post man... he did not have any other packages for us at all last week. The USPS is investigating but I think I am just out of luck. I have lost all confidence in the whole system.

I received this message from a buyer today:

Very blunt and to the point. Anyway, her package couldn't have been shipped out any quicker than it was. Here is the breakdown:

*Auction ended Friday the 21st
*She paid Saturday the 22nd (couldn't ship - my post office closes 1pm)
*NEXT DAY IS SUNDAY - NO MAIL SERVICE
*Monday - package was shipped (priority)

After I recieved her message, I checked paypal and it says it was delivered today (26th) at 1:25pm

I replied and told her it was delivered, so let's see what happens......

Maybe I should have taken it to her myself in my jet plane - then she would have gotten it the same night she paid - LOL

I would email her back with just what you wrote here. What are people thinking, there is only so fast we can go and you are the fastest? Is she new?

I didn't even think to look at her feedback. Yes, she is new (only 8 feedback).
But then again, you don't have to be an ebay pro to realize how the postal system works. Like I said, it was shipped the fastest way possible. To me, that is kinda having common sense......if you know what I mean.

Anyway, you're right - maybe she thought it would be hand delivered!!!! LOLOLOL

Your item was mailed Priority Mail on the 24th since your payment arrived on the 22nd and the 24th was the first postal workday after receipt.

This is so silly these shipping issues. I have issues with the shipping and the new ratings, I always ship the next day after payment has been made (except Sundays) always, always next day shipping and I have a 4.7 ratings for shipping time, LOL. There is no way I can ship any faster, but for some reason some customers just don't think it's fast enough.

Some days I'm even able to ship the same day and if not I ship the next day too. I also have 4.7 rating for shipping, I think a lot of buyers just don't get it.

I now have 2 updates in original post:

on 9/27, she sends me a message saying she recieved it,

Now this morning (9/29), she says she still hasn't received it and is taking it up with the post office

I would write her right back and say that maybe she has you confused with another seller because she had already confirmed that she received it on Wednesday? Then if she says she didn't receive it, or if you want to add some of this letter, it should straighten her right out.

Your item was shipped with delivery confirmation #123456789 , which as you know, shows the item was delivered on mm/dd/yy. At this point, you need to contact your Postmaster so they can speak to the carrier to determine where they delivered the item.

If, after checking with your Post Office you do not find your package please contact me so that we can initiate a mail fraud investigation. Since Delivery Confirmation was utilized, the Post Office will investigate why you never received your package, because someone, somewhere, has it. Mail fraud is a felony and the Post Office takes these types of complaints very seriously.

Okay, I put another update from today.....

The package is still MIA

Question: if she tries to make a claim, will she win? Since It is saying it was delivered, I am hoping she won't.

What is the next step? Does she just try and take it up with her post office since they are saying they delivered, but she didn't get it?

She won't win a PayPal complaint because you can show delivery to the confirmed address. She can chargeback the transaction with her bank but PayPal will have to pay because you complied with the Seller Protection process.

Hi Dawny,
I've been reading your posts throughout the week. I'm sure she received your package and is just confused because it sounds like she ordered from a couple different sellers at the same time.

I think you've handled the situation quite well. As "Dolls" explained, she can challenge the charge on her CC, but as long as you shipped to her confirmed address, you're in the clear.

My one suggestion is --- don't leave any feedback until you get feedback from her. I know she's been a pain and somewhat flakey but don't be rash and leave a neg or even a neutral. If the worst happens and she leaves a neg feedback, let us know, there are a couple ways to handle it, without looking like you are retaliating for receiving a neg.

Thanks for replying. I do know not to leave any feedback until I get fb from her. I personally don't think that she will neg me though (or at least I hope not) - from her messages, she does say that she sees it was delivered and I think she is upset with the post office, rather than me
