What's going on with ebay bidders???

Is anyone else having problems with buyers or is it just me?? All of my auctions have all the information in them (a lot in BIG red letters) yet I still get these questions. Are people not reading? Here are some examples for the last 2 weeks.....

2 times... Are these coupons valid in XXX? First 2 lines in my auction read... These coupons are valid in the states of X,X,X,X,X (This is in BIG red letters). On these I copied from the auction and asked...how did you miss this?

2 times.... How many coupons is this for? Third line in my auction read.... You are bidding on XXX amount of coupons. (Also in auction title, XXX coupons )

3 times.... When do these expire? Middle of page, coupons expire on XXXX

And my favorite............ If we don't like how they taste, can I return them to you for a refund without a problem? What are you tasting? The coupon or the product?!!

Also I've had to file 2 NPB. One changed their mind after auction ended and the other would not confirm her address (also BIG red letters...Mailed to confirmed addresses only)

Just wondering if anyone else is going through this?
Thanks for letting me vent!!

foxcity7 is on a distinguished road
I have totally shut down my auctions..ebay is getting way too greedy and nothing but people not paying, bidding low and TONS of unconfirmed addresses and people asking me to ship to addresses other then theres. I have gotten burnt too much and ebay/paypal is just lousy. I had one person at paypal say one thing, I asked for his employee Id to hold him accountable for what he told me, then says, just wait a minute..and his supervisor said the opposite. Thats poor business!!!

lovepat2: What is the feedback like for the potential buyers? Are they newbies? That last "taste" question makes me think they are yanking your chain or plain dumb!

Sadly, Most buyers do NOT read the TOS in the auctions but since you have the info listed in red...they have to be one of the two I mentioned above.

I agree with foxcity..Ebay has gone down fast...I am seeing more things now then I have ever before. I think the current rule/rein changes has made Ebay a thing of the past.

To really make those important notes show up in your auction, try this. I saw it on an auction and thought it was genius...

But wait, can I use this coupon in Alaska?????

No, only valid in xxx states.

Oh, it's June, 2009, can I use the coupon still???

No, expires July 2008

So, the shorts come down, approximately, to your knee?

No, the inseam is just 5"

See what I mean, something along those lines. It made me laugh, but I paid attention.

For buyers, the concealing of full member names and bidding history has made ebay a shiller's paradise and jungle.

Very wary before bidding any more.

I see this through the opposite side of the fence. I look at auctions that have no description, condition, etc. The description is just the name of the item, for example, "Leather handbag" without dimension, description of hardware, interior, etc.

Sounds like buyers aren't reading the whole listing through. I've had this with buyers, "No international sales", yet I still get questions regarding if I'll send out of the country. lol

I've also noticed less competition for bidders out there. It used to be I hard ever won any auctions, now I seem to be winning a ton. Less traffic with my listings as well.
