Well lets see...There is a sign posted that says 1068 (or so) Ebay PowerSellers are here...I'm sitting in PowerSeller Central checking my mail...
I was able to go thru registration in about 8 minutes compared to the 1-1/2 hours last year...It doesn't seem like there is very many people here...Not as many as Boston. Also, there doesn't seem to be very many good hand-outs (again like Boston last year)...
Just bought a CAN of pepsi for $3.04...Went out of the convention center to eat for lunch at Potbelly's that was good...
For PowerSellers who were in Boston: Remember the 1st 300 to sign up got to go out to eat on Ebay? Not this year...LOL...There is a "pizza Party" hosted by Paypal for their 10th anniversary tonight at 5.
We got a sample of Garretts Popcorn at the USPS stand...Having that and the $3 pop now...LOL...
All in all it is alright this year...
OH YEAH>.....Word on the street...NO ebay live next year....Something about little conventions in a few cities that will be like the TOWN HALL meetings...then in 2010...Orlando, FL.

Wow! People are really upset with Ebay.. do a search on Youtube for Ebay live 2008..there are others too.
My online friends mentioned that the attendance at Live was really low and a lot of very angry people too. JD and his family were there at some point. Not very many vendors or freebies. It just didnt sound good at all.
As the guy in the video said..they are all leaving..and the Ebay staff dont seem to care! Not a very positive response to the Sellers...

I also forgot to mention... it was stated that many new changes are coming at Ebay...not sure what they are as my friends didnt elaborate on that but the overall message was to "get over it" about the changes...
