ok spam from a seller?

I bought a copy of windows vista for use on my new build off ebay the other week and i swear to god every 2 days since i recieved it i get 2 emailed from the seller asking me to leave feedback:

I recieved my item on the 20th and i have gotten these emails EVERY day since i recieved the item..

I always leave feedback but was waiting on my other computer parts and the build etc b4 leaving feedback on the software i got.. its an OS so i cant 'test' it out on my existing computer lol..


Asking once is ok, but now this guy is starting to annoy me with these 2 emails a day.,

I'd be annoyed, too. I think after the second email, I'd reply, "At this point, were I to leave feedback, it would be a neutral because I have not used the product yet so I do not know if it works. If you email me again, I will leave a negative because feedback is optional, not manditory, and I do not appreciate you sending me email after email requesting feedback."

"Many times we cannot receive payments from the buyer until feedback is left" and "Paypal will not release funds" etc...that's a bunch of crap, they made it up. Paypal does not hold fees pending feedback...feedback has nothing to do w/payment. I would be annoyed too and would not leave them positive feedback.

I would send him a polite email indicating you are waiting until the program is installed before you leave feedback. You can also indicate that if he/she continues to send feedback reminder emails, the feedback he/she receives will not be what they want. (ie. Neg)

Follow-up: What bunny-b said! That's what I get for not reading all the emails in the thread before I respond.
