UPDATE I just got a refund within minutes, from paypal! Still would like to know the answer to the question about why it does not show on ebay's site?


I never got my item, the seller won't respond to emails. I tried to file a claim on ebay, but it instead took me to paypal since that's how I paid. I did a dispute and escalated it to a claim after 3 days with no reply.

So, when I'm on ebay, and I click on disputes, it shows nothing! Why? I have to file thru paypal only?

Second thing, how long do I have to wait for paypal to return my money?

Third, is there anything else I need to do, for example, file with ebay, which I tried to do in the first place?

All PayPal transactions are automatically referred to PayPal. eBay doesn't offer the protection program anymore for transactions not using PayPal. You can notify them of an issue but they leave the dispute processing to PayPal.
