I had 6 auctions end on Monday. Five have paid but I'm still waiting to hear from the last one. I sent her an invoice but have not received paypal or any communication from her stating how/when she will be paying. Am I being impatient or should I contact her again to ask when she will pay? I guess I'm anxious because I'm leaving for vacation in a few days and want to have this finished before then.

Do you specify the time to pay and if contact is required? I state in my auctions that contact is required within 3 days and payment within 7. I would send them a quick message letting them know that if they pay by ___, you can ship it right out or otherwise the item will not ship until ___ when you return from vacation.

A deal is not always a deal - Some just make you pay in the end.

In my auction, I specify that payment must be received within 7 days of the end of the auction. After that time is up and I haven't received payment then I just send them a nice reminder that I am still holding their item for them and usually they will respond with when they plan on paying or something to that effect.

I usually state this in my auctions as well but I just forgot this time -- not sure why. Anyway, I sent her a very nice email yesterday stating the situation and I'm still waiting to hear back from her.

I specify 24 hours or immediately if they use Buy it Now (I hate when people use Buy it Now then wait a week to pay me - they don't want anyone else to get the item, but they don't have the money yet). I will wait a couple of days and then re-invoice them. My invoice states my policy (as does my listing). I usually get a response then.
