What's up with all of these auctions being cancelled?

In the last two months, I have had 5 auctions cancelled. Two have been this week alone.

These are things I have sold before, and had no problems (coupons).

What is going on? They say to check my messages for the reason why, and in this past week, there have been NO explanations at all, no messages.

Is ebay on a roll, really, to get rid of sellers? It says now that my account is at risk for suspension (AGAIN!) and I have done NOTHING wrong... making me pretty upset!

Has anyone else heard what is going on or why they are doing this rash exodus of cancelling auctions?

hi

the last one that ebay canceled on me i did NOT get an email about. but as soon as it was closed i wrote them and asked. they had no answer as the why no email. but i sure would not wait till i got a second one to ask .

i did notice that the one i didnt get an email for was one that was NOT the ebay spot check catching me but one
that a buyer reproted. maybe that made the difference. and that coudl be why it is repeating often for you . it may be one buyer who keeps checking your sales and reporting them.

all in all though . if its not a proper auction then its not proper.

i do however get frustrated when i dont seem to know the rules ahead of time
and i do make ebay crazy with mail as i complain how am i suppose to guess the rules.
they usually wont undo the points against me but they do note on my file that it is not malicious
so that it doesnt count as much .

good luck
katt

How do you contact them? What do you say in the email? What title do you give it? Auction number?

I just wish I had received emails on them, then I would know how to respond.

Thanks!

It seems many are having their auctions cancelled with no reason given. Ebay keeps changing their rules that it would take a lawyer to go over every auction you list just to make sure you arent in violation of their terms! One wrong word in the auction body, title or terms and they cancel the auction or worse..they are suspending people now...

I agree with barekatt it seems someone maybe reporting your auctions. A competitor maybe??

Good luck and hope you get some resolution...

Cancelled Auction

I had an auction cancelled today in the last hour before it closed. I have 5 of the same items up on auctions in different colors and only one was cancelled and it had many bids and watchers. It said to check my messages on why it was cancelled but there was no message. Im really confused.
