Other auction sites

Is there another auction site beside ebay? I was looking on ebay discussion board and they said something about google and yahoo. I know yahoo has an auction site, but years ago was not very good place to list. I search for a google auciton and could not find anything. Thanks for any info. I have a bunch of books and dishes I was going to auction, but do not want to use ebay. A lot of ebayers are saying that thier business is really really slow. Thanks for any help.

Bonanzle is a site that's setting itself up as an eBay alternative. I don't know what sales are like, though. I bought something a few weeks ago However, it isn't really an auction site. You set a "buy it now" price, but then visitors can also make offers, and you decide whether to accept the offer or not.

There's Neoloch.com also. I sold somewhere between 200-300 worth of stuff on there in October. Its small but pretty friendly, it also offers free stores to everyone, free listing, and the first 4 pictures of your item are free as well.

Has anyone sold on Bonanzle? Looks easy to use, no listing fees and low final value fees....just wondering if there are any customers there.

I've bought two things there so far, but when I listed a few items of my own, I didn't have any luck. So I guess it's hard to say. People are using the site, but I don't know if they're using it in great numbers.

PreciousJewelry's booth - PreciousJewelry's Bonanzle booth - NH

Bonanzle is great . I joined a week ago and sold 6 items There are people coming like any site it takes time, but you can just put items in your booth and it don't cost you anything.

They went from about 8,000 user to over 12,000 now, the more people that join the better chance of selling things. Ebay started this way and I think this site is going to take off. They have already been making Auction type list, even tho they don't do auctions but you can put your items in your Booth(Store) for free and even allow Open Negotiations and except offers that way.
