| Shipping Cologne?
I recently sold a bottle of cologne on EBay. When I went to the Post Office to ship it, the worker asked me if I had anything liquid, flammable or fragile..like they always do.
I said I was shipping cologne..they absolutely would not let me mail it...at least Priority. She said, I could maybe do parcel post, if I could find out the 'flash temp' of it, and state that on the package, and it had to be labeled with a particular 'code'..I did not know this!
I've purchased cologne from EBay, and it just comes in mail, in a box, with no markings...most of the listings for perfume/cologne also state, 'Priority Mail'..how do they do it, if the Postal Service will not allow it? Do they just not tell the postal worker what's in it? I had to give refunds because I just didn't want to go through the hassle..guess I need to pay more attention to rules and restrictions!
Hope this saves someone else from the frustration!
