Need a little advice here about an item I received.

I won an auction for a microwave grill pan. I was the only bidder so I did get it for the opening bid. In the auction it states that if there are any flaws they are disclosed. Nothing was. When I got the pan, 2 of the 4 rubber type feet had chunks out of them so it doesn't sit level. I informed the seller and she was nice about it and said she'd ship another out right away. This second one was supposedly shipped Priority on May 28. I do have a tracking number and there has been no activity listed other than the very first message about "electronically notified to expect the package for shipping". On the defective item, it was scanned several times along the way and I received it in 2 days as we are in the same state. I've kept in contact with the seller and her last message to me was " Hello, I have checked and am still getting nothing on this. I know that to ship another one they will charge another $4.75....I'm not sure what to do at this point. It should have been there long ago."

Isn't it her responsibility to get one to me? How should I respond? Her feedback is 7500+ with 99.7% positive. Thanks!

that normally means it hasnt been scanned in yet, or arrived at the post office, . try calling the post office or going there with the tracking number. to see if they can find anything, sometimes the website doesnt update for awhile. but for priority you should have had it the beginning of the month. it is her responsibilty to get you one espically since the first one was damaged. check with the post office, if they have no records of the item except they were notified, it most likely never made it to the post office. if thats the case i would see if you could get a refund from the seller, since you never got the item. because paypal only allows so much time for refunds. but definately do not pay to have another one shipped. hope that helped. good luck

You have 45 days to file a claim with PayPal. I would open one now. She may just be trying to put you off until your deadline expires.

It's interesting how the track and confirm system works. I have received items that were never scanned other than when the item was accepted at the post office and delivered. Other times I have items that are scanned all along the way and it turns into a tracking system rather than just a delivery confirmation. I wish the PO wouldn't call delivery confirmation track and confirm.

They are combining express mail tracking with delivery confirmation on the same screen - a bad choice of words as you point out.

I have also had it happen where I have received a package but online still showed it in transit! I have learned that is not the most reliable system.
