Why Bid if you Aren't Going to PAY???

I"m in another state selling for my aunt...So many people have bought stuff (with 0 or low fb) & they just aren't paying...Why is so simple for people to do this & waste everyones time?

Yes, I can turn them in for non-payment & give them their strike. Buyers should be able to leave Neg. FB if people aren't paying...That makes me so angry they took that away from us! Does anyone even see if a member has a strike against them? (Obviously I don't have any because I pay for my items & don't have a clue how tht works).

Anyway the point is, I'm paying her the money she made on here & going home on Friday. There is going to be about $100 worth of stuff I'm pying her for that I'm taking with me that might not actually get paid for. Some items don't have a back up bidder to 2nd chance offer.

Why doenst' Ebay protect their sellers anymore? This is a bunch of crap! I have a list of 32 items that need paid for & some stuff is out of my store since I've been gone. I don't know if people think since I have my vacation settings on til June 25th that means they don't have to pay of what?!??!

I send out invoices every am to everyone who owes money.

On top of that I sold a lot of 1980s toys (now another lot i seen went over $300- but didn't meet reserve so didn't sell -He Man stuff--)...WOuldn't you know my lot goes to $18...what the hell? On top of that, someone had asked how much to Spain (Not sure if it was buyer or not)...So it is posted at the bottom (I always chose for 'EVERYONE TO SEE'...So I send the invoice, & then i get- whoa that is too much to Spain. Wel lit is a big lot over 20lbs...What do you want???? So I said, it said shipping cost to Spain at the bottom of the auction...But I think maybe I should let him out & try to sell it for a much higher price with a reserve...i think that is what i'll do.

What probelms are you having???

I have had good luck. My buyers have paid within a few days at most. I think a lot depends on what you sell. I sell collector dolls. Some of the other categories seem to attract NPBs.

The strikes do help. I have it set up to reject bidders with recent strikes. I can't see them but eBay can.

That is one of the reasons why I no longer sell on Ebay. They took out the balance of the playing field and the sellers are stuck holding the bag too often.
NPB has become quite common now on a lot of different auction sites. I dont know if its the economy or just wishful thinking/buyers remorse after they bid or what. I think most dont understand how much work it takes for a seller and simply dont care..

As for the strike...only Ebay sees that and after three strikes they will be kicked off hopefully.. but with Ebay..who knows.. Sorry you are going through this and hope it gets better for you. If you really enjoy selling online you might want to try another auction type site like onlineauction.com, Bonanzle.com or Atomicmall.com. Granted none of these sites are as popular as Ebay but they are moving up and they dont have the "stick it to the sellers" mentality as Ebay does.
