My last car was a lemon and so when I bought my Honda Civic I purchasesed an extended warranty thru it at the dealership. The car is 3 years old and today I get a letter in the mail telling me the company that I had my extended warranty thru has filed bankruptcy. So not only am I out the 1600.00 that the warranty cost but no longer have the security of knowing my repairs will be covered.By the way the company is API.
