Wallet Woes...

Having a large family brings many good things, but also has some drawbacks. One drawback is continually having to buy gifts for someone for some occasion.
My family is very large, and spread all over the U.S. Some in New York, New Hampshire, Florida, North Carolina, Georgia and as far away as California. My mother's mother had 7 children, and each of her children had between 3-6 kids. Not to mention, my grandmother's mother had 7 children herself. That adds up to alot of aunts, uncles, cousins and big family gatherings!
It's great because in the summer, we have plenty on a team for a great volleyball game during our family bbqs. Which I have to say I'm pretty good at, since I was on the girl's volleyball team in my school years.
Anyway, all of this family sometimes creates problems in the wallet. Though over the years we've whittled the gift giving list down to just immediate families and no extended family members, there is still plenty of presents to buy. Just last month, there was Father's day, a couple of birthdays and a bridal shower. Next month, more birthdays ( including mine hehehehe) and another bridal shower. Boy, do I wish there really was such a thing as a money tree! I'd grow an acre of them! LOL
