A Powerful Oxidizer!

Hydrogen peroxide, it's that chemical substance in a brown plastic bottle found at your nearby grocery or drug store for as little as $1.00, sometimes less when it's on sale. This wonderful substance may not seem like much, but it has many practical applications for not just that cut you have, but for household uses. With it being a powerful oxidizer, hydrogen peroxide kills bacteria, viruses and fungi on surfaces.
Here are a few uses for 3% hydrogen peroxide around your home!
Kill Bacteria on That Toothbrush: Soak your toothbrush in 3% hydrogen peroxide between brushings to get rid of those bad boy germs.
Remove Mildew in Your Bathroom: Pour the peroxide directly on the area and wipe it clean or use a spray bottle with peroxide if you need to clean a larger area.
Keep a Shower Clean: Mix together equal parts of 3% hydrogen peroxide and regular tap water in a spray bottle to kill those germs around your bathroom.
Keep Your Countertops Germ Free: Simply apply a little on your sponge or dishrag when you wipe, or spray it on the counters using a spray bottle filled with a 50-50 solution of hydrogen peroxide and tap water. Mix up only as much as you'll use at one time.
Kill Germs On Your Wooden Cutting Board: After rinsing off your wooden cutting board, pour peroxide on it and then rinse again.
Bacteria Free Veggies and Fruits: Simply fill a clean spray bottle with hydrogen peroxide, and another spray bottle with regular cider vinegar. First spray with the peroxide, then the vinegar and then rinse off.
