One of my two favorite holidays is Halloween, the other Christmas. I guess my love for these two holidays comes from my mother. She always made a big deal out of them. Decorations galore and on Halloween she only gave out the best candy, Hershey Bars, not the snack size kind, the normal size bars.
She loved to see all the kids decked out in their Halloween costumes and so do I. My favorite treaters are the first time treaters, they bring such a smile to my face when they knock on the door on Hallow's Eve. So cute in their little costumes and then a small and soft voiced "tank you" LOL
My mother has now passed on, but to this day, I decorate the house up for Halloween. The fake graveyard out front, the lighted pumpkins in the windows, spider webs, the animated skeletons and the animated witch stirring the pot, too many to list.
