Smells like teen spirit

If you have been reading my blog for any period of time, you will know that I am big on smells. I can relate a scent to ever major event in my life. If I smell fresh cut grass, it reminds me being a little girl watching my dad mow the lawn. The smell of lemon cake brings me back to my wedding day. And the smell of curry makes me think of Mario, who sat next to me in eighth grade history. Every day he smelled like curry. It grossed me out. You know how everyone's house a smell?

The news is bad. Mr. Audio Visual is leaving for college in August. Charlene and I are very broken up about this unfortunate turn of events. I know he can't work at CVS forever, but what will I do now?!!
Think of a new topic for Saturday's.... I guess.<sigh>

The bad news just got worse. CVS got cheap this week- nothing to get TOO excited over.

It used to be that February was my favorite month of the year.
Girls in green vests knocking at my door, offering up their goods were a welcome site.
I had it down to a perfect science. Three boxes of Thin Mints, four Caramel deLites, three Short Bread and some Peanut Butter Patties thrown in for good measure.
The recipe for a year long supply of Girl Scout cookies was born.
Come delivery day, which was always around Valentines Day, (Coincidence? I think not!)...
