Thankful For....

In a couple of days, many of us will gather with family and friends to enjoy conversation, maybe football or board games, a meal and the opportunity to reflect on what we're thankful for. At times everyone seems to be so busy that we simply forget to be thankful for anything. We take our friends and family members for granted, we forget that others may have nothing to eat, we take for granted the warm, comfortable home we have and many others comforts that our lives afford us. So at this time of the year, we seem to stop for a minute and reflect on our lives and what we're thankful for. I hope we can be thankful throughout the entire year and not just one day. I've learned the hard way to never take anything for granted. So while I am thankful each day, today I wanted to let you know a few things that I'm thankful for.
I'm thankful to be alive and have relatively good health.
I'm thankful for my two beautiful, kind and loving children.
I'm thankful for my parents who have supported me through so much.
I'm thankful for having a wonderful friend who has helped me through many difficult days and nights.
I'm thankful to have the necessities of life.
I'm thankful to have the opportunity to live life in happiness.
I'm thankful to live where I live in a country filled with freedom.
I'm thankful for simple things and the ability to enjoy such things.
I'm thankful to each person who has influenced my life, affected my life, came into my life and those who left when the time was right.
Yes, I'm thankful for much.
