Only 6 More Days

I've finished the birthday shopping, wrapped the gifts and in the spirit of Christmas, I set them in the living room so my daughter will have to look at them until her birthday! She says it's torture, pure torture. Yes she is the drama queen in our house. She owns and wears the title nicely.
I ask my daughter some questions and these are her answers:
Favorite Food: pizza and corn nuggets
Favorite Color: blue, pink and purple
Favorite Singer: Jonas Brothers (though she says that's a band and different from a singer so if I want to know her favorite singer it's Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana)
TV Show: Hannah Montana
Movie: Camp Rock (even though I haven't seen it yet, it won't be on TV until Friday but it has the Jonas Brothers in it, so I know I'll love it!)
What's so great about turning 10? Getting a house key
Do you think you'll be more grown up at 10 years old than you were at 9 years old? Yes, of course Mom!
I told her to pick A favorite food, she chose 2 and wanted more. I ask for A favorite color and she said she couldn't decide between the 3 I listed. So I've learned that my daughter is indecisive. Amazing what I learn from a few simple questions.
Miss T., your birthday is quickly approaching. I know you're excited and anxious to open gifts and be 10. I'm excited for you but really wish you'd slow down in the growing up department just a little. It's not necessary to grow so tall and be so mature so quickly. Really...weren't you just born yesterday anyway? You cannot be almost 10....just can't be true!
I love you, Ms. T!
