Today my daughter is 9 years old. I cannot believe it. I say this every year. I just remember so clearly the day I found out I was pregnant with her. I personally love to write. I find it enjoyable to put my day, my life or an event in my life into words. Sometimes it seems more exciting reading about it another day than it actually was when it happened! I also find writing is a release for me. If I'm frustrated, I can type out all of my frustrations and I normally feel better and no one had to suffer! I also find that writing truly brings out feelings I could never express in real life to my family or friends.

So I was thinking about the saying TGIF. Why are Fridays the treasured day of the week? Did this start when most people worked Monday through Friday so they looked forward to that being the last work day of the week?
