That's the phrase that my oldest daughter has come to love so much! I've been volunteered for everything that can be volunteered for. I was volunteered to do her 4th grade Junior Achievement program, which I did not mind at all. Jr. Achievement is a wonderful program and I highly recommend it. Normally, they have a business person from the community come in but since we live in such a small area and the school is so small, they usually ask the parents to do it. Going through something life changing like a divorce has caused me to think a lot and reflect on many things. Today is Halloween, a day many kids look forward to. Maybe many adults do too. For most of the kids I know, it's about picking out a costume, having a party at school or home or both, going trick or treating and even watching some scary movies. Most of the adults I know only participate in this day for their kids, me included. As a child I hated Halloween. It was scary, dark and just over all frightening to me. What a delightful Saturday! The sun was out but the fall chill was still present. I had my windows open, ceiling fans going and oh how that breeze made the house feel all new. I love the smell that wafts through the house when the windows are open. I love looking out the windows and seeing the beautiful fall colors.
