I didn't recognize his name, but I knew his face. My 12 yo dd calls him the guy who yells. She would ask us why he yells on his commercials! Lisa

I just read an article about this, and they mentioned that he was on board a flight yesterday in Florida that the tires blew out. He had a couple of things (like carry on bags maybe) fall on his head. Could this have anything to do with his death? Remember Natasha Nielsen hit her head skiing and died the next day?

Wow, he was on the US Airways plane yesterday that shut down Tampa Airport because it had a rough landing from blowing out the front tires. I think I heard on the Tampa bay NBC affiliate that they were wondering of the plane issue could have anything to do with his death. I wonder if they are thinking blood clot or something else. It is scary how many we have lost in under a month 5 so far.

Wow I agreed 4 people in such a short time, he was so young and his voice was so powerful I can close my eyes and hear his voice on the commercials, very sad... peace. Catherine

This has really been a sad week...DD told DH this morning and he thought she said that Willie Mays the baseball great had died...He realized awhile later that she said Billy Mays...Yes, my kids call him the OxiClean guy too...Only 50 years young...Wow... ~Lisa

I heard something on the radio stating he was hit on the head with falling luggage. They have to wait for the autopsy to see if it had anything to do with his untimely death.

And he was supposed to go in for hip surgery yesterday, too. Seems like the heart problems would have been found during all the preliminary work before the hip surgery.
