Wow he lived to a ripe old age. I remember him in Street Car Named Desire and Streets of San Francisco .

Sad news once again , however 97 is a nice age to live too, wish we all could, and yes he always seemed like a very sweet man. My parents yesterday mentioned alot of his old movies. May he rest in peace. Catherine
