Wink Lighter thread cafe friends what is your favorite cereal to eat kindly share

Okay lately I have been on a kick of eating kelloggs raisin bran cereal. I have always loved this cereal however lately I cannot stop eating it. I have been putting the milk in the freezer to make it extra cold and adding fresh banana's as well so yummy. I have been eating it for breakfest and sometimes as a late nite snack. Also my other favorite cereal is all time the one and only cherrios the original one. So kindly share peace. Catherine

Hi Catherine. I'm getting my blender next month. I comparing which blender would be best to get. I am aiming toward an Oster with food processor attachment right now. I can't wait to get it though and make some green smoothies!!

Susiecat I would lean towards the one with the food processor as well. I have one regular blender, then I have one with a the food processor and then I have my favorite which is the the juicer. It was a bit pricey however you can put any friut and vegtable in there and make many great delicious nutrioust drinks and the best is its 100 percent all fruit or all vegatables with no additives or sugar or anything 100 percent all natural. Please post when you get the product and perhaps I can offer you some ideas. Do you have a favorite vegatable or fruit I mix spinach and carrots all the time and some fresh parsley and add crushed ice. I know its not for everyone but some people have a hard time eating their vegetables and this is a easy way. Good luck. Peace. Catherine

I'm addicted to frosted mini wheats, I add fresh blueberries. Also love quaker oat squares and cracklin oat bran. I call these my morning cocaine.

Can't believe the price of cereals.....when there's a sale somewhere, I back up the truck to the front door of the store.

Frosted Mini Wheats and Life - try to stay away from cereal in general though. Just not good from a carb perspective.

I get on cereal kicks and they last from 2 weeks to a month usually. Even my family jokes and says what kick are you on when we go to the store. For right now my ceral of choice is GM Fruity Cheerios. (Capt Crunch Berries is also a fav but I can eat the box of berries in about 2 days since I think of it as a snack/candy)

I am sooo boring.
Oatmeal is my favorite. But I do dress it up with cinnamon, flaxseed, dried blueberries and a shot of SF caramel syrup. It tends to stay with me through the morning. Cold cereals don't keep me full til lunch but once in a while I do have cheerios in my yogurt.

I only buy cereal once every year or two but my fave would have to be fruity pebbles

When I was a teenager I remember eating cinnamon toast crunch with milk and vanilla ice cream - it was awesome!

I am not a huge cereal person. I do like oatmeal once in a while. I also like Kashi Autumn Harvest, and shredded wheat.

The "junk food" cereals that I like are Captain Crunch, Lucky Charms, and Apple Jacks. The "healthier" cereals that I like are Frosted Mini Wheats, Trail Mix Crunch, and Rice Krispies.

I'm not much of a breakfast person and most sereals smell funny to me but I do like Total Raisin Bran, Frosted mini-wheats, and Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds. Cereal must remain crunchy & milk must be ice cold! Soggy cereals will be dumped!
I can much on Fruity Pebbles or Froot Loops, dry only, just as a snack.

I love any and all cereal. I haven't eaten any in years since carbs are really bad for my blood sugar.

I buy it at Aldi, it's under $2 a box there. Also the Quaker bagged stuff is good too and usually cheaper than the boxed brands. I used to think cereal was $$$$ but then I thought even if I pay $4 a box you get 4-6 bowls of cereal out of each box so $1 or less for a meal isn't too bad.

I also LOVE oatmeal. Again haven't had any on years.

I like orange juice over my raisin bran. I also like to pour a container of strawberry or blueberry yogurt over my cereal in the morning. I don't like cereal with milk... never have.

Aldi's IS a great place to buy cereal. I also like Trader Joe's.

I love Post grapenuts but my favorite breakfast is a yoplait light mixed with oats(1/4c) so yummy. My 8 year old daughter asks for it all the time but if I feed it to her on school days I add some fresh fruit and a piece of toast. I never feed them cereal for breakfast(like earlier poster said it doesn't seem to hold them over until lunch). We do cereal as a bedtime snack(we don't do desserts to often so they are happy to eat a bowl of cereal).
