I hear you on the sunshine! Have fun at the beach! I work in the Kittery/York area.

As for our weekend plans. My weekend is Sunday/Monday. Probably spend Sunday with the DH and then on Monday make him a decent meal since he has to work. Oh boy.....loads of fun! LOL

Going to my Mom's -my brother is visiting with his son - they are taking DD#2 back home to Ga with them for a week. At least one of us gets a vacation. Possibly heading down to one of my other brother's to try and talk some sense in him.

No big plans for us. BIL is coming over on Friday to stain the new windows we had installed. DH is planning on picking a bunch more mulberries and some raspberries, so I'll be freezing/drying/cooking them. And I really NEED to clean the house at some point, and get caught up on laundry. FUN, FUN, FUN weekend, huh?

Annadrose- I know you were looking for a job and was wondering if you've considered working at your local school district? Ours currently has TONS of jobs posted (via the internet) and others that are available through the Superintendents office. I was shocked at the pay for some of the positions..Just an FYI!

As for us, if the weather holds out, we'll be doing some boating. Friends of ours are coming out on Saturday for a cookout at the dock and then, their son is staying overnight with us. Sunday will be more boating!

On Saturday (July 25) my daughters and I will celebrate Christmas in July -- baking cookies, watching Christmas movies, and getting started making gifts for friends and relatives.

Watching my 17 yr old dd's soccer game...they are in the finals, so if they win Sat morning they go on to the Championship that afternoon!! The parents and kids are having a 'tailgate' picnic between the games too, so that will be fun!

Congratulations!! How exciting.

Friday morning me and the kids are leaving the house at 7. I'm dropping the kids at my brother's house which is a 2 hr drive and from there I have about a 50 min -1 hr drive to a state PTA board meeting Friday and a summer leadership workshop Saturday. I have a workshop to present and need to work more on that . Saturday I'll get away hopefully by 5, pick up the kids and head home. Saturday is also DS's birthday. DH gets to have some quiet time doing whatever he wants Friday evening and Saturday. Sunday is church and rest.

How / why does anyone stain windows? Am I missing something, or do you really mean staining the woodwork around them?
