| Need ideas for extra income....
Just wondering if anyone has found any ways to help bring in extra income as a side job, preferrably working from your home. I work full-time, have three kids and attend college full-time online. I'd love something that is flexible and can help bring in some extra cash.

Consider cutting back to save money. Make your outgo less than it has been. This isn't the same as bringing in extra money, but should help to offset. I bet with some serious determination, you can reduce. Get the kids involved and make it a challenge. dl |

We've already cut back like crazy, including getting rid of our phone and Dish Network. That saved over $150 per month. We have lots of medical bills due to regular visits my youngest son makes to the doctor and with inflation of everything around, I'm just tired of living paycheck to paycheck. It would be nice to get ahead of the game a little.

I don't do it but Alpine Access is a good company and is flexible. You set your own hours (even middle of the night). You take customer service calls for companies. You are self employed (thus self employement taxes) but you get to write off your internet, phone, etc. You need a land line though. They don't allow you to run it off a cell. It's about $10 an hour last time I checked (I went through the interview process and then decided not to go through with it because I couldn't guarantee my hours 24 in advance since I had a small baby at the time). Besides cutting back, you can take your clothes to consignment shops to get extra $$$, have your kids mow lawns or pick weeds or babysit. Not sure how old all of your kids are but once they hit 12 or 13, they can contribute to the household money when times are lean. I pick a friends child up from school during the school year (we do school of choice so no bus) and she pays me some $$$ (even though I tell her I would do it for free). A lot of people will pay for before school care or after school care at a friends house instead of paying a daycare (at least people I know).
