We all let people into our lives, but you will find that really good Friends let you into your own.

To me, it means. Good Friends let you be yourself. They don't try to change you.

Good friends give you insight into yourself.

To me, it means that somebody is trying to be 'deep' but spouted complete nonsense instead. How can anybody (really good friends or not) 'let' you into your own life?

Good friends will allow you to be yourself. There by you will/can look into yourself to find the real you.
