Hi, all! We just wanted to say that our family really appreciates all of the thoughts and prayers from everyone on this site. Unfortunately, it was not meant to be. Momma passed away on Sunday. It all seemed to happen so fast and it honestly still feels like we are living in a dream and are waiting to wake up. Please continue to keep us all in your prayers as this has been very hard on all of us. My Dad asked that I post this, although I really didn't want to. He said she had become very close to several of the people on here and he knew she would want everyone to know how much she cared about them!! Leslie, I lost my mom to cancer when she was 51, so I can relate to what you're going through. I still miss her so much, and sometimes think "oh, I have to call Mom and tell her ...".

Oh my goodness. I am so so very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. It seems just a few days ago that you informed us that your mom was in the hospital. I am truly so very sorry about the loss of your dear mom. I know the loss well as I lost my mother and mother-in-law not so long ago.

Thanks everyone, we really appreciate the thoughts, prayers & kind words! It has been very hard, especially since everyone has left and life is returning to 'normal'! She is in a much better place, free of all the pain she had been feeling! That brings us all some peace, but does not make it any easier. I think the 'little things' are the hardest; wanting to pick up the phone to call her (we talked everday), seeing her car parked in the driveway & thinking for a minute 'Momma's home'. . . but it will get somewhat easier with time. Thanks once again!
