Never mayo, miracle whip or ketchup

I prefer BBQ sauce to ketchup, and I'm a stickler when it comes to cheese...none of the individually wrapped American cheese, I need a smokey provolone or a good colby jack deli slice.

Oh yeah...no Velveeta or American slices. A good cheddar, monterey jack or colby jack. DD likes pepper jack.

I make mine at home, preferably on the grill with bbq sauce and cheddar. If I fry them, I'll put cheese, mustard , ketchup, pickle and onion or sometimes just grilled onions, peppers and mushrooms...yum!

Oh I have never thought to put avocado on my buger, I bet that is so yummy.
So do you just slice it and lay on the buger ?.I can't wait to do this next time I grill bugers. Thanks for saying this.

I can't stand a fried hamburger. When we have them here I always grill them. I will stand outside in 20 degree weather to grill hamburgers LOL.

On mine I use, tomato, mayo, mustard and sometimes I will use pickles and lettuce. But 9 out of 10 times I only use A1 sauce. Here at home it's only the A1 , if I get one on the go its the above.

I can't stand any kind of cheese on my hamburgers Ekk Yucky lol.

Depends on my mood. Never ketchup. Sometimes cheese.

Mustard & pickles or
miracle whip, red onion and tomato or
lettuce, tomato, onion, mustard, miracle whip or
mild banana pepper rings or
BBQ sauce

Vidalia onion is the best IMHO. No ketchup for me either although my family loves it on their burgers. Up until this week we had fresh leaf lettuce from my parent's garden along with tomatoes which should hold out until frost. I love a grilled burger with a big plate of sliced tomatoes. Yummm!!

Only grilled here! I grew-up with pan fried burgers and I simply cannot eat them that way now!

My favorite burgers are:

Mustard, ketchup, Miracle Whip, onion, tomato, lettuce, and american cheese
Blue cheese w/ onion
BBQ sauce (Millers), cheddar cheese and onion straws
Avocado, pico and cheddar cheese

You can just slice the avocado but it slides out. I like to put the avocado on the bun first and kind of mush it down a little with a fork. That way it stays put.

I must be the only one from the southwest answering this morning. Grilled Hatch chilis. Yum. They are also great on a grilled chicken sandwich. Ohhh and also grilled roast beef sand.
Can you tell I have spent too much time visiting New Mexico?

Ha! Me, too. My parents fried hamburgers all the time, but we only grill them. That's the only way my dds will eat them. They don't like them fried at all!

My burger has GOT to have cheese, or else!

And I don't think I'd like Miracle Whip on a burger.

Oh, Avacado and Bacon on the hamburger are SO SO SO yummy!!! Maybe that's what we'll have for the weekend... My mouth is watering!
Yes, though, definately mash the avacado first and put it on the bun... It's way yummy with swiss cheese too, or muenster... Or provolone... Is it lunch time yet?

What I like on my burger depends on how it is cooked/where it came from.

McD's-Quarter Pounder with cheese only ketchup

BK-Whopper, no cheese, with mayo and ketchup

Sit down place such as Fridays or home made on the grill-cheddar or american cheese, bacon and bbq sauce

Home made in the foreman grill-kraft single and ketchup

Now these aren't carved is stone, it's just how I prefer things. I can eat a grilled burger with just ketchup on it, no problem, no drama.

I do not like onions or pickles and will not eat them. I can gag down a burger with mustard on it as long as there is ketchup on it too.

Depends on my mood. One thing that is necessary is Cheese! I'll eat it with ketchup, mayo, lettuce, pickles, fried onions, mustard (rarely), bbq sauce. Sometimes all this stuff together, sometimes only a few. Again, depends on my mood.

I love them on the charcoal grill and on Martin's potato bread. YUM YUM
