| Beauty College Question?
I'm going to the beauty college next week to get highlights and a trim. (a friend of mine is doing it) My question is, Should I tip? Are the students allowed to accept tips? IF so, how much should I tip? TIA Chris

When I was in beauty school, we were allowed to accept tips. They were usually given directly to us when we were done with the client. This was 15 years ago in California. You can always ask at the front desk when you get there. They will let you know.

Yes, I absolutely do tip. They are students and appreciate the money. For a highlight, no haircut, I usually tip $4-$5.00.
