I colored my hair at home once, and I plan on doing it again in the net month or two. I had no problems with staining on anything, skin, clothes, bathtub. I used the semi perm with no ammonia kind. Not sure if that makes a difference??

I found the Perfect 10 didn't last as long as regular dye products such as Preference. I thought it faded out within just a couple of weeks. No one else has had that problem? I didn't think it covered grays as well either. Dealdancer, you could buy a $1.00 plastic shower curtain liner at the Dollar Store and cover your floor with that. You'd be able to reuse it forever too.

Maybe I'll give again it a try when it goes on sale. I liked the 10 minute part of it. I won't use the conditioner and see what happens. Maybe I was outside too much in the sun before when I tried it. I know the sun can fade hair color out too. Thanks!
