Where do you buy your bathing suits if...

you have big breasts? I can't find any with support. Why would a size 12 or 14 have not enough or no bra at all. I need support for these girls! HELP!

Why not buy online at Woman Within , they have a good selection of swimsuits.

I have the same problem and I got one from them that had support. I am buying a lot of things from them including bras they have a bra club and you buy I think its 5 and get one free.

I second that, I buy a lot of things from Woman Within and One Stop Plus. (it's an affiliate of woman within). I just bought a new swimsuit from OSP shipped for $26.

I haven't tried their bras yet. I may have to though.

If you have large breasts and are plus sized, you should be able to find a swimsuit with good suppot from a plus sized store as other posters recommended. If you are large breasted but thin, look for a bikini top that has underwire (it will look pretty much like a bra).

I also have to add that I *highly* recommend buying swimsuits online or by catalog. I work in a retail store and lingerie is one of my departments. I sensor underwear so that it can't be tried on (we damage out any underwear or swimsuit bottoms that are returned) but we have to sensor the swimsuit bottoms so that they can be tried on. I won't bother to gross you out with a description of the things we've encountered over the years.........I'll just say that I will *never* buy a bathing suit in a store :::::::::::shudder:::::::::::::::

I have bought my last several swimsuits online. I have been pleased with everyone.

Do they (B&M STORES)really think that little piece of paper in the crotch of swimsuits is suppose to protect from the who know whats of it all?

I agree that this is a very good recommendation. However, I have a 16 yr old DD that is modest with a DD size. She tries on at least a dozen suits before finding one that fits. This would be very cost prohibitive.

Dillard's sells suits that are specifically D size and larger.

Try Lands End. They carry good swimsuits with bigger sizes.

I second the Land's End comment. They have underwire in some of the suits, and you can buy separate sizes for top and bottom. I have 3 of their suits and they have held up very well also.

It would be impossible for me to order one online. I'm large breasted and extremely short waisted to boot. I've had some luck in Target. I buy a 16W top even though I normally wear a size 12 clothing. They also have some underwire. Then I buy a 12 bottom.

I will add that is you must try on swim suits in the store be sure to keep your underwear on and wash your new suit *really* well before wearing it at home. Over the past 4 years I've only seen ONE girl emerge from the dressing room to show her mom the suit she was trying on and she had her panties on under it. I'm sure there are plenty of others that leave their undies on but the vast majority seem to try suits on commando. Again, I've seen the evidence (not to mention all the other truly disgusting things some people think to use a dressing room for )

Iguana- I have your same problem. It's not even that I need a little lift-there's nothing to lift. Any suggestions on swimsuits or bras for us?

I bought my last suit at Lands End. I entered all my measurements (which was kinda a pain but very worthwhile in the end) and it gave me the size I needed. It was not the size I would have bought but it fits great and I really like it.
Adding free shipping and a sale and it was a very good price as well. And, being Lands End, it should last a long time.
