anyone have one placed?? Cost??

Is there already some type of window there? Like a small basement window?

We built an addition 2 years ago and put egress windows in the basement rooms, so they would be considered 'legal' bedrooms. It was an extra $1000 per window for the window and the outside plastic part to climb out of, plus a cover. The holes for the windows were already built in, no extra cutting needed.

Our house came with one already there and when we wanted to install more we were quoted twixt 1,000 - 1,500 to put each new one in. (am in upper mid-west area)
